Cytoskeleton The cytoskeleton is made of 3 components which are the microfilaments, intermediate filaments, and microtubules.                                                Microfilaments: They are narrow and  have 2 different ends and they are round.                       Intermediate filaments: Made of protein strands that are stuck together in almost a swirly direction. They contain keratin which is good for hair, skin, and nails.                       Microtubules: The largest component that is made of tubulin protein with a straw like tube. They help resist compression forces.        Functions of the cytoskeleton:      -Gives the cell a shape     -Keeps the cell in shape     -It is almost like the human skeleton      -Gives the cell support Biomolecules of the cytoskeleton:     -The cytoskeleton is made of protein fibers. They work with protein fibers that help support the cell. Malfunctions of the cytoskeleton:    - If there wasn't a cytoskel
